Frequently Asked Questions
*Standard gifts include: greeting cards, art prints, embroidery hoops, basically anything I'm not drawing to order.
Postage for UK addresses is £1.80 but if you go large and spend more than £15 postage is free. Stick that in your wallet and spend it.
International postage is something I'm unable to accommodate at the moment.
My order is urgent - can you send it any quicker?
We've all done it, forgotten a birthday and are in a rush to get something delivered. Pop a note in the Note Section of checkout and I will do my best to help you out.
How do I return or exchange an item?
I am more than happy to refund returns sent back within 30 days in new condition. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for all the info.
The world has had enough of our selfish ways, and it wants to break up so we've got to change unless we all want to be stuck on Mars with a self-satisfied Elon Musk.
The greeting cards are printed on sustainably sourced 340gsm paper, but I'm looking into options for 100% recycled card, so watch this space.
My embroidery hoops are made from recycled fabric, the hoop's frame is made from fast-growing bamboo. I have been searching for recycled thread, but it's proving elusive. I will fight on.
My packaging boxes are made from cardboard and are fully recyclable and I'm looking into the options for full-circle, recycled and recyclable.
I avoid plastic like the plague so it's tissue paper, coconut husk buttons, and string for wrapping although I am partial to a sticker.
Now I'm not saying that my small shop is going to change much, but if I'm not part of the solution I am part of the problem, and I hate how guilt feels so sustainably all the way bitches. Come with me it feels nice and smug.
I love your doodles can I get an original?
Hell to the yes. I hand draw all my images first and then colour them in the magical world of adobe. So if your happy with pencil sketches, or a black and white version of your favourite doodle, I'm happy to accommodate. Prices start at £20. Email me up at email@example.com.
You sign your prints, but I don't want your scrawl all over my art print.
I'm not going to pretend this doesn't hurt... but I'm happy to sign the back of your print instead. Just leave a note in the shopping cart section when you check out, and I'll be happy to leave my nasty John Hancock off the front of your print.
Do you do commission work?
I absolutely do. I work mainly with authors but have created artwork for all sorts of clients. Prices are competitive. Here's my portfolio if you'd like to check out my work. If you're interested in a quote, or just a chat about ideas then email me up, firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm going to level with you, I'm a one-woman team, so while I'm pretty fudging fabulous, I'm not God, (yet). This means I use the data collected by this website through Google Analytics to try and make my way. An example of this is, I use the information of where people come from to time my posts, so more people see them. So I sell more stuff to pay for food and my lego habit.
Third parties also use the data created when you share things from this website on their platforms. Do I wish certain companies wouldn't use this data to seemingly break society? Of course. But like I said, I'm a one-woman show, just trying to make my way.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For standard items*, I'm a one-woman machine, and so will aim to get your package posted to you within 24 hours (not including Sundays). For those that splashed out on a doodled avatar, depending on how busy I am, it could take up to 7 days, but helping you to 'up' your profile pics, is my number one priority and so I aim to be quicker than that.
