It's all about inspiration and a love of creating. I create five pieces of art a week, one of which I'll show you how to do.
Learn how to create a delicate watercolour and ink flower scene.
But if that doesn't take your fancy, there's also experiments with bumblebees, postcards and butterflies.

Day 81
Task; Draw Butterflies
Embrace the rainbow. So I hand drew the butterflies, but thought I'd do a little computer magic colouring them in. Never very sure with this kind of finish, looks beautifully neat, but to my eye it looks too neat.
Day 82
Task; Try drawing blind. Find a lamp and draw it without looking.
Stick with me, but a few weeks ago I drew a sheep in a very fast energetic style. It was lots of fun, and turned out really rather well. So I tried it again, with some added oil pastel pizazz.
Day 83
Task; Flowers.
What you'll need
Watercolour paper.
A waterproof black fine (0.05)
Watercolours, and a paintbrush.
Step 1
So my lovies, first things first we're going to create some flowers. When mixing media like this, (ink and paint) it's nice to think about where we want the ink to go. Making the flower shapes simple helps with this, like the circles we can fill in and the and the long line that can become vines.
Step 2
I made this beautiful teal colour by mixing navy blue with a sea green. The vines are created by painting one side and then the other, think 'hearts' to create the same look. I painted all the vines first, then the all bobblehead flowers, then the daisies, so I don't get the shades of teal mixed up. A fun light hand works here no need to be too precious, nature is imperfect and wild, and that's what we're trying to capture here.
If you're less confident about how to picks colours for your art; go tonal. Colours in the same family or neighbours in the colour wheel, it's a simple way to create a sophisticated look.
Step 3
Keep adding colour, but remember to let things dry so you don't smudge your work. To create the soft feathering of colour in the roundish but not the striped flowers, here's how.
Create a very pale, watery blue, paint the shape of the whole flower head. Get a much darker blue and very gently add it to the bottom half of the flower's head. It will instantly move around the damp base you created. Give it a gentle blow/push with the brush and the darker paint will 'feather'. Work on one flower at a time and use two different brushes, one for pale blue one for the dark.
There you go a hazy meadow, in three easy steps.
Day 84 & 85
Task: Draw somewhere you have visited and add stripes to the bees.
Day 84: Draw a place you've been, and not to show off or anything, (totally showing off) I went Paris on my Honeymoon. A beautiful summer's week, in a beautiful city.
Day 85: Love my little bee guys, who knew you could go boo-loo with strips eh? I loved playing around with the workhorses of the insect world so much I created even more.
